Squats for immediate leg growth

Squats reward honest work. Pick a variation you can control, use a full range that fits your body and accumulate quality volume.

Choose the tool

The goblet squat is easy to learn and teaches an upright position. Double-kettlebell front squats increase total load and challenge the trunk. Pistols build unilateral control with much less external weight.

A simple session

After warm-up sets, perform five sets of five front squats or three sets of eight to twelve goblet squats. Rest long enough to preserve depth and speed. Finish with carries or swings rather than adding careless repetitions.

Progress

Add one repetition per set until you reach the top of the range, then increase the load and return to the lower end. If depth, foot pressure or trunk position changes, hold the weight steady.

Leg growth follows repeatable tension: train the movement hard, eat to support it and recover before the next session.
